Microsurgical Suturing

The vibrant team from LF1 Surgical Society hosted what was probably the most demanding workshop of the day. Microsurgical suturing required participants to demonstrate extremely precise hand control.
The task seemed deceptively simple: cut a piece of membrane from one egg and attach it to another using a running circular suture. However, due to the membrane's delicate nature, tying even the first knot proved to be a monumental challenge. While most participants managed to place a few sutures, the slightest hand tremor would undo their progress. Even if not everyone could complete the task, one thing everyone took home was an immense appreciation for neurosurgeons and ophthalmologists who perform this effortlessly everyday.
