Urazova Nemocnice has a 24/7 emergency service which also includes the possibility to see a general practitioner and dentist 24/7. Bring your insurance card with you and 90-100 CZK in coins, in case you want to see a general practitioner or dentist. THE FIRST SESSION SHOULD BE FOR FREE.
The Crisis Centre in Brno (Krizove Centrum) is open 24/7. It is possible to have short-term intensive psychotherapy which involves hospitalisation for 5-7 days. Please bring your proof of insurance with you. Before speaking to a psychiatrist, you will need to talk to a nurse first. The majority of nurses speak little or no English, so here are some helpful phrases to assist your communication:
- Hello, I am a student of the medical faculty:

Center for students: counselling - first sessions are for free (up to 5, depends on the number of clients).
